Context
Elympics runs a Web3 gaming platform with around 5,000 monthly active players. Cockpit is one of the company’s core applications, and it needed a rewrite.
What I did
- Led a team of four developers: hiring, mentoring, setting technical standards and the code-review bar.
- Drove the full rewrite of Cockpit in a Turborepo monorepo on Next.js.
- Built Web3 wallet flows with RainbowKit.
Leading the team
Most of the job was making four people productive in one codebase: shared conventions in the monorepo, a clear review standard, and onboarding new hires into both the product and the crypto domain.
